Wong played great. He had a shutout in his first game and was excellent in the second after letting in two early resulting in a 2-0 hole for Blizzard. They won 5-2. Box scores available at NAPHL.com looking for Minnesota Blizzard 18U. Their other goalie played very well too in the first and third games.

Did Howe backup the USHL stampede? Or a U18 team? Haven’t seen it anywhere on here but he transferred from Minnetonka. I believe I heard to Totino Grace. Confirmation on destination from somebody on here?

He suited up for the USHL Sioux Falls team - emergency back-up. He transferred to Totino-Grace.

I wouldn't read into save percentage too much. I equate it to a pitchers ERA...it's more of a team stat IMO. One G could have better Def in front of him, a team may take more chances than others in D zone. One G may be seeing most shots from distance and another G may be facing higher quality shots from close quarters.

FWIW, Wong played very well in Wayzata's win over Hill-Murray yesterday. Nearly a shutout, the lone goal came late on a weird delayed penalty play. Trojans aren't giving up anything to anyone in the goal category.

De nada, mi amigo.
TRF and Denfeld each have two goalies on the list, which is impressive. TRF in particular is not going to be giving up many goals this year, even if they are offensively challenged themselves.

Fritsinger and Glockner are the clear frontrunners. I think you could put a few others in the mix but these two have separated themselves.

Although too soon to say...advantage Glockner. So far on paper relatively similar (and very impressive) but looking past the numbers, moves better and acts as a third defenseman. No doubt Tonka has a tougher schedule. Glockner likely will see higher quality shots and more scoring chances from elite players. Fritsinger always looks in control and a large reason for success at Andover. Looking forward to the showdown in Bemidji.
