Question, if I remember correctly section final games are often not streamed due to a cost the high school league imposes for the right to broadcast those games, is that correct?

Actually a lot of section final games were streamed on prepspotlight last year I believe. Not great quality but better than nothing.

And WDIO in Duluth streams the 7A and 7AA games for a fee (but has better production values since its being broadcast on tv)

State of Hockey stepped up and did almost all. I think 13 of 16 Section Finals were available.

I recall being able to see 7 of the 8 AA section finals last year (two in person), I hope that opportunity is available again this year. It really helps make the state tourney more enjoyable.

Sadly I've only made it to one game so far this year, but have watched quite a few streamed games and have to say I really love being able to jump from Grand Rapids to Roseau to Braemar in a few clicks. When I went to the game (Cretin v. WBL) this year, I realized that there's nothing like being able to see a game live, but there's also nothing like having to get your car pushed out of the parking spot after the game...

Recently learned of a few more Sectional finals that will be streamed.
