Looks like that will be the case... make up game is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday night) at the same time in sartell. Any word on Doherty’s status for this game?
Looking at the score sheet posted, it was a game DQ and not a misconduct. I believe he has to sit the next game, which would be this one against Sartell.

Alexandria has cancelled school and all activities for Friday as well. Looks like the game at Sartell will have to be slotted in somewhere else.

I heard the Sartell vs Alexandria game is not going to made up, which will make it much more difficult to seed #2 and #3. Doesn't really matter too much I guess.

I think their semifinal match is basically inevitable either way at this point. Isn't that going to be played at the MAC anyway?? Shouldn't make too much of a difference what jersey color they get to wear anyway.

I think you just answered your own question as to why Alex and Sartell aren’t bothering to play, since it wouldn’t be in time to impact seeding, though a rematch would still be nice for us as fans (and I’m sure Alex wouldn’t mind another shot at Sartell).

Sartell’s recent tailspin probably drops them to #3 despite the head-to-head win, but they will almost certainly meet in the semis regardless.

You are correct, with seeding Wednesday, it doesn't really have any impact on seeding if they played Thursday. I posted that original comment before I knew when seeding was. But as fans, you are correct, we would love to see it. And if conference titles were important, that game would have an impact on the CLC, if the CLC is based on points rather than win percentage.

Sartell will be #2 unless they lose tonight to Fergus, which I doubt they will. Head to head is hard to argue against.

If it was a more decisive victory, I would agree.. but sartell does have a few questionable losses that may push them down to 3. Again, I’m not sure it will matter in the end besides which bench they will be in at the MAC during the semifinals.

I think a victory at Alexandria is a pretty compelling argument for the 2 seed. Very hard to argue against that one. I do think Alex is better, but they should've taken care of business at home.

I guess I agree with that. You can’t really get upset with that seeding if you get shutout at home.

If Alex beasts St Cloud or Sartell loses to Fergus, Alex gets the 2 seed.

I am somewhat surprised that the coaches gave more weight to Sartell’s 1-0 victory over Alexandria back on Jan. 3 as opposed to comparing the overall bodies of work, since Sartell had a few bad losses. In the end it really doesn’t matter much since they will almost certainly meet in the semis, and Alex advanced to state last year as the #3 after a weaker regular season performance.

Voting Alex at 3rd were Fergus, Little Falls, Prairie C, River Lakes & Wadna
At 2nd were SCC, Breck, MOrris, Sartell,
SCC voted Sartell at 1
Slex 18
Sartell 15 (less is more)

That was the closest vote

I am also somewhat surprised. Oh well, if all goes according to seeding, the semis and finals will be fun! Drop the puck and get it on!
