Duluth Denfeld proved they are worthy, albeit the effort of their goalie.

Denfeld is definitely worthy of being ranked, most likely in the muddled 10-15 range. But as Lee says on his site, “one game does not a season make” (or something to that effect). This is also a team that lost to New Prague and Mankato West. Let’s see how they perform against Hermantown before crowning their (behinds)!

It takes a while for QRF to get in line.
It is still evident that it is a computer ranking.

QRF is a little quirky as well in that margin of victory or defeat is ignored, and it seems to weigh record more heavily than SOS. Marshall and Mound are two outliers on the high side, while TRF and Warroad are lower than expected. It does seem to equalize eventually as you said.
