Shots 9-9 end of the 1st.
Moorhead came out jumping and had by far the better scoring chances; it easily could have been worse for EGF. The Wave started to play better later in the period and again here early in the second.

Shots 27-20 in favor of Spuds. Very close game... EGF just seemed to give up a few too many odd man rushes that Moorhead buried. EGF has a deadly PP unit that connected twice.

Andover beats Blake 2-0

Sogs approx 35-25 , Blake was snakebit with 4 pipes

CakeScout and I in agreement that Kaiser is one of top 5 D in the state , in a very elite group

Eagan 5 Rosemount 1. Don't buy the score of the Eagan/Rosemount game as Eagan was the better team. Eagan benefitted from the better puck luck and horse**** reffing. Rosemount outshot them 35-22 and was overall the better team, just couldn't catch a break. Worst reffed game I have ever seen at the high school level, can't wait for the rematch, I expect a different outcome. And no I am not just whining as I'm a fan of both teams. And not to take anything away from Eagan, they are good, speedy, physical team, typical Taylor coached team.

Congratulations to Coach Griswold on his 100th coaching win. AHA is playing much better than they have in a few years and the coach is one of the reasons. Not a contender yet, but watch out.....Of course I am a homer!!

That’s exactly how Andover wins games, not explosive offensively, but control puck possession and air tight on D. Now that Charlie S. Is healthy, Andover will go into MG and win a close game on Thursday. MG is really good, but a year or 2 away from reaching their peak (given the three early departures this season). While I think Tonka will prevail on HDM, it will be a low scoring, close game and the Huskies are capable of sinking the Skipper sail boat (that day)

I watched the game online pretty much in its entirety. Very good feed and announcing on the local TV station. I took those shot totals from the scoreboard at the end of the game. Perhaps there was a little home cooking involved? In any event it was a very well played game by both sides, with plenty of up and down action. EGF goalie Brown stoned two breakaways in the first to help keep things under control. Once the second period started it was like the Wave shook off some jitters and were a new team. I definitely came away more impressed with EGF as compared to how Mahtomedi played against STA Saturday.

Craziest game of the day (season?) has to go to Princeton outlasting Kennedy 11-9. Princeton has been like that for much of the year, with multiple games in the 7-5 and 7-6 range.

He is very good and is following in the steps of his two older brothers Gage and Tye.
I have now seen him in 2 games = Park Rapids and Bemidji.
I could believe he is a top 4 04’, but I don’t have much to compare him against.
He also already has good size for a 9th grader.

We will see.
