Prep Spotlight TV
The Prepspotlight website streamed a bunch of girls section tournament games plus they have all the state tournament games not on Prep45. So how come they don't have any boys games today?

Re: Prep Spotlight TV
I called MSHSL several months ago about Sections and didn't really get a clear answer that I understood. Broadcast rights are controlled by the person in charge of each Section tournament, generally an AD at a member school. They have been reluctant to allow streaming. Maybe they haven't been offered enough. One very well funded prominent entity was working on this, but it obviously never materialized. So assume it would cost a lot of money.
School Sports Media has some agreement with MSHSL, but I think of it as mainly for sports nobody cares about where audiences are very small. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but prove me wrong when I see 2AA/6AA from Mariucci streamed live on Wednesday night for all to see. Anyway, SSM is the parent of PrepSpotlight.tv I think.
The answer - still - is Section games aren't streamed. 7A & 7AA are, but I believe a pay site. That really reduces viewership in a hurry.

Be kind. Rewind.
