White Bear played a pretty solid game, Blaine just had the edge in star power. That Blaine team will be tough.

WBL will not improve to 1-18 in the 1st round of State.

Blaine 5
WBL 2
So close!

WBL’s 2nd line way better than the 1st line. Millard played a great game. Blaine’s top line had all four goals.

Gallatin would have helped immensely.

Lakeville South 5, WBL 3
Quote from one of WBL posters the past 2 state tournaments - "0-2 BBQ".

WBL out played Lakeville South today. But once again spotted them a 3 goal lead they couldn't over come. Will be interesting to see the Bears next year...

Welsch played while White Bear played their backup, that's the difference.

Losing Gallatin and Berg from their Bantam AA championship team really hurts their chances. I never saw Berg but saw Galatin on the Varsity as a 9th grader last year and he was the Bears best player.
