I've heard that as well. Unconfirmed but from reliable source w/ direct ties to STA program...been rumored for nearly 2 months tho so time will tell.

That would be huge news. Not that they’ve had trouble recruiting great players, but with Guentzel as head coach they could absolutely unseat Hill Murray as the premier private in the east metro.

Per Twitter late last week - Calvin Simon has had the interim tagged removed at Shakopee and is now their head coach. Scott Macho has accepted the head role at Farmington - which now opens up the South St. Paul job.

Update on this as the whispers I heard were incorrect - Lakeville North's Trent Eigner will take the trip up 35 to Mendota Heights.
