Just your everyday 9-6 win where shots were 71-35 if the box score on MN Hockey Hub is to be believed. Looks like Osseo was shorthanded for the 3rd period with 7 minors in the last 18 minutes of the game.

One of my favorites was when a prominent MN goalie supposedly saw 50 shots in a period a year or two ago. While 106 shots in a game seems difficult to believe, what gets captured on scoreboards and/or on the Hub is MUCH more frequently underestimated than overestimated (unless you're tracking shots for HF).

I wonder if it's the same guy who runs the HF twitter acct? That person is a gem.

Here is what I have for the AHA vs Osseo game. AHA came out playing real well went up 5 - 0. Then something clicked and Osseo came storming back and in the third were up 6 - 5. Third period was a battle, lots of penalties. I had to go make ice on the other rink and AHA was up 8 - 6 with a couple to go so I thought it was over. When I finished they were still skating and I thought OT, but it was 9 - 6. Asked one of the parents and they said very chippy penalties, scrums. But AHA got the win, not the prettiest but they played well,
As far as coaching, the two assistants ran the bench. Coach Grisswold is back next week...that is all I will say about it. Don't ask [-X , I DON"T KNOW!
