Anyone got the story on Silianoff?
He was 60 in last CS ranking?

Interesting players undrafted

Re: NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings
A little bit yeah...Silianoff is a very, very late (young) 18 with a January '01 birth date, is listed at 5'11" / 170 but in reality is 5'10" and 165 soaking wet (at least from what 2 sources tell me)...so I think there's some lets him next year after freshman year at Notre Dame and if he holds up physically, continues to put up good numbers he's a top 3 rounds draft pick in 2020...I also believe he suffered a wrist injury toward the end of the year this year in Cedar Rapids (18 g/23 a over 55 games in '18-'19)...so he did well, but not exactly tearing it up either which he surely did during his entire Shattuck career. Ive seen him play about a dozen times over last 3 years and have yet to see see him play and not put a point in every game. Sneaky player. Opportunist.
GS had a great Hlinka tourney last summer with 5 points in as many games and was 13th in scoring in USHL as a U-18 player...some scouts 'wish' / think he could do well to do one more year in USHL then hit ND in 2020. But as of now he is slated for ND in the fall...TBD
PS - Dylan Malmquist sighting at Wild dev camp this week!

Basically everything you said here is accurate except a Jan 01 birthday is not very very young. It would be middle of the pack even a bit on the older side for this draft class. In fact, had he been on the NTDP team, he would have been one of, if not the oldest on the roster. For reference, Hughes is May 01 and Brink is July 01. Sorry to be nit picky!CakeScout17 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 12:57 amA little bit yeah...Silianoff is a very, very late (young) 18 with a January '01 birth date, is listed at 5'11" / 170 but in reality is 5'10" and 165 soaking wet (at least from what 2 sources tell me)...so I think there's some lets him next year after freshman year at Notre Dame and if he holds up physically, continues to put up good numbers he's a top 3 rounds draft pick in 2020...I also believe he suffered a wrist injury toward the end of the year this year in Cedar Rapids (18 g/23 a over 55 games in '18-'19)...so he did well, but not exactly tearing it up either which he surely did during his entire Shattuck career. Re: NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings
Yeah, just young. Hughes is very young. Brink is extremely young. Silianoff not in that category of player...crazy that Hughes just turned 18. Brink still not quite 18 - WOW! He'd be a senior this year at Tonka...unreal. Off to Denver already...man.ThatMNHockeyGuy62 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 8:46 amBasically everything you said here is accurate except a Jan 01 birthday is not very very young. Re: NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings
Brink (7/01) and Haider (9/01) were the only two juniors in Minnesota. Unreal that both still can’t buy lottery tickets
Silianoff will get drafted next year. I’d put that at 75-80% assuming he has a solid year at ND. I think he’s a lock if he stays at CR, but that seems unlikely. While most draft picks go in their main 1st draft year, some go the second year and a minuscule amount go their 3rd and final year (Ronnie Attard and Logan Neaton both went their third year - which was this year).

He’s better off going undrafted giving him all the leverage to negotiate a professional level contract if given the opportunity
