Here are some projections on the pool winners, but with EL tryouts this weekend and with the way coaches form rosters for this summer festival there are a lot of variables surrounding who will actually be playing this weekend

A - DE
B- BSM, GR the dark horse
C- CDH, but this pool is the most wide open with HF, LVN and CEC
D- Andover or Blake, should be a good one depending on who's playing
E- MG
F - STA, Cent could be a dark horse depending on a couple of move ins?

Grand Rapids Indians are going to surprise a lot of people this year 🤭

IDK saw grand rapids play 4 times last year Peart is easily their best Player. Clafton didn't impress he was average at best in the games I saw.
Minnetonka, Benilde, Elk River, Forest Lake, got pulled in FLAKE.

Agree Clafton is not a high end goalie like Rapids has had in the past. With that being said , Rapids is a year away from making big noise not saying they can’t make it to state this year but there weakest link is seniors , As long as nobody leaves early they well have a solid three class system again for the first time sense 2016 but the big question for the team we’ll be in net.

I actually think it will be the Orange of Grand Rapids vs. Andoverin the section final. Duluth East and CEC will be the other teams in semifinal Saturday at the Amsoil. This section is weak in head coaching, except for Duluth East, of course. Andover will have the most talent on the ice. The Indians will have skill, size, and a motivated Clayton in net. CEC will be deep, but small. And a young, inexperienced 2nd year coaching staff. Duluth East will be desimated by early departures from the program and mid season quits. 4-5 bantams coming to high school early seems a must again this year. Civil war within a program is ugly.

Wayzata beat BSm 4-2 incl eng . Preview of possible Section 6 semi next Feb . Penalty box was full most of the game.Kids appeared to laugh it off during/after handshake line . Sarsland was at Nat Camp

Saw Pino put in great snipe for first HF goal against Lvn . Could get 75 points and give Biondi a run for his money for Mr Hockey? Left that one at 2-0 to watch CEC vs Gleason Cdh . All purple . Left after scoreless first half

Looking forward to Cakescout comments on Blake vs Andover

Seeing such a low-scoring game between Blake and Andover is surprising given the amount of offensive talent on those two teams. Any word on who is minding the nets for Andover?

59 , You can’t really go wrong since there are continuous games on all three rinks all the way until 8 PM

As far as some of the top teams, andover plays at 12:45 and 6.25 Blake at 12:55 and 6.35 Maple Grove at 2:40, bsm 345, STa at 5.30
