Buffalo Superfan
Sad day for Buffalo hockey, boys and girls, with the passing of Gary Wagner. He was killed in an automobile accident as he was driving home from the STMA/Buffalo quarterfinal. Gary was a founder and strong supporter of Buffalo hockey, and a constant presence at the arena. His love of community and sports, led him to travel near and far for games. Most recently to Roseau for the girls' section play-offs.
One of the neat things that Gary did was present senior members of the team with medallions, as reminder to give back to their communities and programs in their adult lives.

Thanks for sharing, and I’m saddened to hear of Gary’s tragic passing. At least he went out following his passion, though unfortunately fate didn’t provide him with a Buffalo win that evening. Though I never had more than a passing conversation with Gary, I remember him fondly from my time in Buffalo. Rest In Peace.

Prayers for him and his family.
Re: Buffalo Superfan
Every year we hear about one of these wonderful people passing away. Someone who goes to all the games, helps out wherever they can and all the kids respect and cherish them at their arenas. This story is sad because of the collision, RIP wonderful fan, you will be missed but not forgotten>

Re: Buffalo Superfan
Just for the record Mr. Wagner was not at fault.
"Authorities say 26-year-old Sarah Robole of River Falls, Wisconsin was traveling east on County Road 35 when she crossed the center line and collided with the Wagner vehicle head-on."
