Is this information available online or would you be able to post?
I don’t know if it is on line.
What do you want to know?
Who are the 34 and 38 teams?
I will see if there is an easy way

If your HS opted out and parents/players still want to do it can they? I assume they can, they just need to take the initiative to register and set it up, right?

My guess is they can as it is open to MN hockey players.
They would need to coordinate with eh MHCA.

This plan seems to be falling apart at least for the larger schools who have many playing elsewhere and probably will not return for a bridge season. Hope MSHSHL can put together a State tournament or many of our best seemed to be destined for better development opportunities.

Saying it’s “falling apart” is not accurate. The bridge pre-season was always optional to all teams.

Perhaps, but the list of programs saying they are definitely participating is much lower than I personally anticipated, and many of those are smaller schools, who have issues with multisport athletes, and some weaker programs among the larger schools. If there isn’t much in the way of participation numbers and competitive games that can be arranged, then it becomes a less compelling option even for the definite “yes” group.

Looks like Duluth school district may go to all online learning if case counts do not drop, which means no sports/activities.

It was on all the local channels last night..link for online article below...

Duluth is already all online outside of elementary. I love how the local news blew this up. In the post it states they MAY take actions if they rates dont change. Here is the actual post from the East activities facebook page

Looks like the SEC is mostly a no. Also didn't see Edina on this list. Did I miss them?

Duluth East and Denfeld aren't participating. Word on the street is that Hermantown, Cloquet, and Marshall may be.

You seem to know a lot about Duluth. How’s the East schedule coming along? When will they play Hermantown?

Randolph will NEVER play Hermantown as long as they remain in Single A...end of story ☝️

Right now The Hermantown High school schedule shows them playing Duluth East Tuesday Feb 9th at Heritage Arena. Go to lakesuperiorconference.org then pick Hermantown High School then look at schedules for Boys Varsity Hockey. It might be an error, but right now it looks like it may be on.

Covid has done wonders to schedules. I'm guessing there will be a few games that ordinarily would not be played. Sometimes you have to take what you can get. It appears that EP is playing Holy Family, which many people probably never saw coming. MInnetonka playing Owatonna.

Wise Old Man.....

You now have swung and missed on Big Ten Hockey and MN Hockey bridge season. At least admit you are guessing! You have no inside knowledge and are posting as if you do. There is a simple term....IMHO, it means “in my humble oponion”. Maybe learn you are not the judge and jury of hockey in Minnesota. You have an opinion, it seems those in power disagree with you.

Guess that depends on how you define "swung and missed". I'm not sure what you're referencing in regards to the Big 10. All I did was point out that their medical advisory board had what they deemed solid science based reasoning as to why they initially decided not to play. I never claimed they wouldn't ever play.

As for the Bridge League...my contention was that if it was run through the actual youth associations, it would never fly. Along with the fact that, IF it was run through the boosters/parents, it would be extremely challenging to get all of the required USA/MH requirements completed UNLESS those individuals were either still coaching/administering at the youth level, or had done so recently. So Goldy, is this being run through the associations?...Ummmmm, nope it isn't. 8) Meaning, I wasn't necessarily wrong, was I? And, you can believe me or not but, at least a few of MH's senior leadership is not a fan of this idea, along with being quite skeptical of how it will work out.

If I were you, I'd be more concerned with your decision to try and defend some idiot walking into an arena with a deer rifle slung over his shoulder. But hey, that's just me...

FWIW Jr Gold has reduced their schedule from 24 games in previous years to 20 games this year.

Wonder how HS tryouts will work, given that it is Thanksgiving week.

How about someone admitting that hockey was a bad idea. Or admitting that this Pandemic is far from over.

More and more schools going online only. When the schools go online there will be no sports. Just a matter of time. Duluth St. Cloud, ciiies teams.
