I know little or nothing about LaCrescent but assume this has to be a huge win for them.
#10 beating a #5 is always something to take note of.

LaCrescent is coached by an alum in Eriah Hayes, Hayes made it up to the NHL with the San Jose Sharks for a bit. Quite the big deal in a baseball town.

Wow, that is incredible! Good for him. And he stayed at LaCrescent in HS to boot.
Be kind. Rewind.

Fun backstory there--I remember Hayes from his college days and being impressed. Cool that he found his way back home and now has a chance to do something with that program. Given their proximity to LaCrosse, I would think it's a program that has at least some upside.O-townClown wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 10:14 pmWow, that is incredible! Good for him. Maybe they get another win tonight, they play essentially Mankato East's JV squad.

The dream continues.....
3-1 eng
Give East a lot of credit for playing hard under really tough circumstances. Both goalies played very well I thought. East had chances but couldn’t get one in the 3rd. East also stopped a 2-0 to keep them alive.
Even in a game under these circumstances the Lancers celebrated like they’ve never been this far before (they haven’t) and East looked as down as any team could be.
