Actually, the lack of advertising is troubling. Why broadcast it for free if you can not sell ads?

Education Minnesota was noticeably absent in a year where they advise teachers to not teach.....hmmm
I assumed you were being sarcastic about Education Minnesota. Don't you know that kids in extra curricular activities get better grades and have better attendance and learn leadership skills and after decades of underspending and budget cuts have led to.... I felt like I saw that commercial 942 times during the tourney.

Don't get me started on that Honda commercial. #-o

I assumed the limited commercial breaks (and seemingly quick intermissions?) were to help reduce pushing the 2nd games later?
Not only that, they got the first game going faster: it was 7-10 minutes after the hour that they dropped the puck instead of 15 or so in the past.

Hopefully the change is permanent: I thought the quick games were very noticeable and very welcome

One thing I would like to see become permanent, if possible, is the girls and boys tournament run together during the same week like this. It was great having wall to wall hockey on practically the whole week.

I agree it was nice to see all four championship games on Saturday. The problem with doing this during a non-Covid time is that you can't really put another championship game in the same session with the AA boys because there would be barely any tickets available due to the larege number of season ticket holders for AA.

you'd have to do the A girls/A boys in the morning session and AA girls/AA boys in the later session. it MIGHT work then

I was being sarcastic about Education Minnesota. The ads being for students was just a wee bit ironic.
