:!: Homer Alert :!:

Trey Fechko is making a nice late-season push to find his way into consideration for nomination. (Consideration for Nomination would be a great album title). His numbers aren't gaudy, due in large-part to the Hornets' schedule and style of play, but he has been phenomenal down the stretch.

Max Strand in my mind. Only saw him in one game, but he has the skillset and the numbers

Reply:

Yes , Max's body of work is impressive:

Senior Year: 68 points so far
Junior Year; 39 points in shortened season
Soph Year : 44 points
'Bantam Major: 126 points

Also member of Team Sanford for 3 years , lucky to see him regularly at New Hope

According to YHH podcast today ….

- 7 “lock” finalists are:

bump
byfuglien
gardner
godbout
knox
sarsland
strand

- the remaining 3 finalists (with some uncertainty) will be :
del greco
gruba
marshall

- 4 more which were the most deserving of good debate but
will not likely make the 10 finalists are :
fisher
hall

young

winner will be : Alex Bump

I think you’re right Westy. Gonna be Bump. Slam dunk if they beat the Raiders.

Ballots were due a couple weeks ago at end of regular season

So sections and state tourney don’t factor in , i don’t think

Bump , Strand , Gardner top 3 Imho
