Well ... it appears that the Shady Bunch has risen from the dead. The cow plow is about to wow the crowd with another trip to the title game. Where's Packerboy (at least Vinnie the Pooh) when you need him?

I have to think there are a lot of folks wondering how the "weak section 8" has not one but two teams playing for a State Championship today. I have to say I am happy and laughing ..... LOUD! GO NORTH

Rick Wagoner and GM would be proud...

Post by Stitch Lips » Sat Mar 14, 2009 7:16 am

Ain't that the truth TKO! But the 'Private vs. Public' pundits who thrive on backing the private schools are still hoping to pull out the big one against Warroad. Moorhead took care of Cretin last night. I feel for Packerboy but fate has it that Moorhead and Warroad will win the whole thing "when they all least expect it".

Well ... the Shady Bunch has been saying this for years .... and there ain't any better 'bandwagoneers' than the Shady Bunch.

Right Mr. Slapshooter?

Slappy .... you truly are the King.

BTW ... half of the Shady Bunch abandoned ship and went over to "the other side" ... I heard Videoscout has been resurrected.

Looks like the curse will live on - Warroad downd 4-2 going into the 3rd. You should have stayed away and both squads may have had a chance. It's "No Prisoners" now for Breck and EP!

Thanks for bringing this back up. I couldn't help but go back and start from page 1 and read what all ya'll were saying about my old squad. :D

Anything can happen night in and night out, but I still think it's gonna be between Warroad and TRF for the fifth time in the past six years.

It's amazing that dating back to the 2001-2002 season, Warroad has ended TRF's season in all but one year. The year TRF won it.

The Brainerd Hillbillies

Post by Junior Samples » Sat Feb 06, 2010 1:33 am

Come and listen to a story about a team colored blue
A former fighting Sioux, kept 'em guessing with no clue,
Then one day he was confronted by some rams,
so he turned them into frightened little lambs,

ovine that is, green wool, tasty chops.

Well the first thing they built was muscle into steel,
Kinfolk said "These boys are for real"
Said "Xcel is the place you ought to be"
So they loaded up the bus and drove to St. Pauly.

Energy Center, that is. Fancy Suites, screaming fans.

Well now its time to say goodbye to Roseau and all their kin.
And we would like to thank them folks fer kindly droppin in.
You're all invited back again to this locality
when you get that seeded spot at good ole number three.

Bluesbuddy that is. Slapshooter style, Take your skates off.

Y'all come back now, y'hear?
