Why is Hopkins A Peewee Ranked so low in MHJ?

Post by Rhino »

They are 8-1-1 in a very tough district, and they have done very well in their tournaments.

They should be ranked in the top 10 for sure. Any other opinions?

Very Good Question

Rhino that is puzzeling usually MHJ does a much better job at getting the rankings correct which means they do their homework on teams. Hopkins is a very good hockey club and deserves a top 10 billing in pee wee A.

I see they moved Hopkins up to #10, and Rogers to #9. I guess they were on top of it, we just had to wait for the new rankings to come out.

Because MHJ rankings are about as LPH. They are great publications but rankings are something they should stay away from.

They may be a good team, but my experiecne is that teams that play in the tier 1 tourneys such as Edina, WBL, and Duluth will get preference in the rankings.
