I like Thief River Falls & Warroad. Both great for different reasons.

National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, and Mariucci. The seats are never filled with youth games but just playing on the same ice as so many legends is alot of fun.

Aldrich... The sight lines are some of the best I've seen as a fan, and with the close proximity of the fans to the ice (players), there's always an energy in there... even if it's a Johnson/Como game!

Hands down the best.

Sort of...

The Governors bring a level of excitement rarely seen in any arena, regardless of who they're playing.

They do, but because of the private financing of it, I always consider that as something a little different than every other arena in the state. I don't know the ins-and-outs of financing of evey arena, but I would have to imagine that not many (if any) got the deal the TRF did with Englestad. Not knocking it... it is a great arena, but to me, it kind of doesn't count... kind of.

The little Ralph is a great legacy story. Love to see other highly successful people give back.

Can't take it with you. Why not give back?

Roseau Memorial had the best ice anywhere until they heated the rink. Still good ice, however.

The best ice I ever skated was the old Met. Its gone so the next best ice is the original fairground rink in Rochester even if the building isnt so great. The worst ice has to be the Rec Center on the north end of Rochester. I think the pool warms it up but there is always dangerous cracks along the boards. 1 of my teammates broke an ankle when we played down there in the Robin Tournament last spring.
