Didn't see any of the games over the weekend but wondering if Conner McCallum(? spelling) from MV/Hill was there?

There are some others that are missing, and some that I can not believ made this cut. I saw all the games as well... to me , it looks like if you were a smaller player, your chances were significantly less.

I agree with cornmuk. I know Walker is small, but lets get serious. I saw most of the games and there definitely weren't 54 better forwards than him. I thought we were past the days of the big project kids.

i'm surprised that 4 district one forwards made it, despite the team only scoring about 4 goals in 3 games

mch - I am surprised you are surprised? D1 in past years has had several quality players that should have moved on but for some reason they get overlooked. There were some decent players on this years team, even though they did not fair too well in all of their games.

Can you give any other reasons there maybe should have not been 4 forwards selected other than being surprised?

well, for one the D1 team played the relatively weaker teams, and nobody really dominated. All the players selected had some great shifts, but they also had some not so great ones too. Considering these players were picked over kids like Ben Walker and dochniak, who played against the better of the teams all weekend.

Well Dist 11 has 10 kids on it, District 10 has 8 so that isn't it.

Well there really is not any formula involved. From past experiences I have seen usually a larger number from the teams that actually played in the championship game, which is pretty consistent from year to year. And from there it is really in the eye of the evaluators at that point. They do ask the coaches for their opinions, but sometimes that information falls upon deaf ears.

Rosters Out for Advanced 15

I got way too much time on my hands:

District 6 = 15 (players chosen)
District 2 = 12
District 4 = 10
District 11 = 10
District 8 = 9
District 10 = 9
District 3 = 8
District 1 = 7
District 5 = 6
District 15 = 6
District 16 = 6
District 12 = 4

Isn't this fun!
