Good tourney, but pretty clear cut. Only potential for an upset in my mind is Lakeville South over Duluth East and I just don't think Lakeville has what it takes to put the hounds down.

Duluth East vs Woodbury = Duluth East
Wayzata vs Rogers = Wayzata

I'll take Duluth East...home rink and Wayzata can't disembowell them twice in a row...or can they?

Apple Valley 6

Tons of penalties the refs did not let the game play flow.

I don't know the score but Duluth East and Tartan tied.

Woodbury 5
Superior 1

Woodbury was up 2-1 at the end of 2 and scored 3 quick ones in the third to put it away. Actually a better game then the score reflects.

Wow...what's going on in Duluth!

Duluth, the favorite, a tie and a loss virtually has them out of Championship round play. Lakeville South may bounce into the top 4 or 5 if they keep this up!

Stillwater takes out Rogers??? I thought I said they could take unlimited jacuzzi's and swims in the pools in Detroit Lakes, but they couldn't do it here.

This is going to shake up the Conditioningsucks powerrankings this week!

CS Rogers must have misread your post about swimming and the jacuzzi

I'm just saying the momentum for AV could have been different if they would have called it no goal.

I heard they left the 1st line home, so the 3rd line could get playing time.

Rogers 1st line was there and played its usual 25 plus minutes per game. They were exhausted by the end of the weekend and lost to Armstrong. Armstrong/Rogers game had to be called prior to time running out. The teams left the ice without shaking hands.

They had to leave the ice because of the major brawl initiated by the Rogers team with 1.7 seconds left.

There were plenty of upsets this weekend....Rogers, East. Not sure what the final of East's last game was but prior to that game they had scoed only 3 goals combined. They looked sluggish and tired. Rogers was pretty much in the same boat. Looked kinda beaten down and dejected. They're both still good teams....this just wasn't their weekend.
