Criticizing a tournament for not having checking, especially when some of the participants will play [u]three[/u] more seasons before they can check in a winter league, is asinine. I assume you feel the same about 3x3, which has no checking at any level.

I think these type of tourneys will start popping up. Really, $1,599 a tournament? Ice is cheapest in the summers. Entry fees are ridiculous. Good luck.

They are out there if you look for them. I know Crookston runs a tournament similar to this, too. I'd have a team in this one, but the weekend just doesn't work with baseball this year.
