What a program!!
Unfortunately it gets gutted by USHL and NDP.
Be nice to see one group stay at least through junior year and run the table in St. Paul.

Crazy thing is this year’s team, with the exception of one player, is completely different crop of kids than the ones who won AA Bantam title last year.

Problem, high school-wise, is too many kids are leaving early for national team or juniors. Four very high end players who could have been on MG’s high school team this year left...older Janicke (NTDP then USHL, would have been senior this past season), Kelley (NTDP, junior), Haider (NAHL, junior) and Faber (NTDP, sophomore).

Saving grace is youth program is large and very deep. In addition to AA Bantams winning state championship this year again, A Bantams finished second and B Bantams won consolidation (lost to Edina in quarterfinal in triple OT...with this game really being the championship game as they were top two teams in tourney).

It helped my Blaine boys 🤷🏼‍♂️

Not sure how much truth there was to Brodz22 coming back because that original trio left? But if you include elder Janicke- they (Bengals) were eliminated 3 straight years with all 4 present at one time or another. Can’t fault them either. All 4 are having great success at the junior/national program level. I’d step out on a limb to say all 4 get drafted too. Win for Blaine and them ;) If they lose 1-2 more to NTDP - even better!
