Elliott, how about we conduct a statewide survey of all of the association presidents as to whether or not they would support a proposal to go back to the previous eligibility rule of play where you live? Make it anonymous if that helps improve the response rate. And then, if the responses are 75% or better for going back to the original rule, let’s have the Board put that on the agenda for the next meeting.

Well, I know Pete Hill is in favor of going back to the old rule. Again, it’s all about “pressure”. IF, emphasis on IF, 75% or more of association presidents are in favor of the old rule, and that gets out in a very public fashion via podcasts or blogs, or whatever, then it makes it far more difficult for the actual MH Board members to vote against it.

Voted against what specifically? The eligibility rule allowing for playing where you attend school? Or, to retain the old rule of play where you live?

I do not remember how Pete voted on the allowing automatic school waivers.
I know I voted against it - Pete may have also.
