I heard from a friend who has a son on the Como PEEWEE B team, who said they are going to get to play in the TWIN CITIES DISTRICT PEEWEE A ALL STAR GAME. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> HOW DOES THAT WORK ?????<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("> Maybe since they went undefeted and should have played A's anyway, they should be pulled from the B regional and go to represent the A's. My son was already contacted about playing on this team and - THERE IS NO WAY A "B" level player should be allowed to play. Como made the choice NOT TO PLAY "A" LEVEL, WHAT A JOKE INDEED>>>>>>

The TC district just continues to put a target on it's back. Did the district not say that "A" teams cannot play "B" teams or maybe that is a Minnesota hockey rule which the TC again will ignore. Hockeymom69 if I was you I would boycott the game and not participate who knows your son might get a sanction against him or your team. what do you think of this Elliott70?<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

I was wondering how you could have A's and B's on the same ice. When we practice in Irondale, we can only have one half the ice.

This was originally a game between Minneapolis teams against the Saint Paul teams. Now it sounds like this game should be discontinued do to poor planning by the figure heads of the TC district. I do not have any specifics to make a comment. When is the game to be held? What are the criteria for being chosen? Who does & how are the teams rostered? I would hope that it is being done under MH & USAH guidelines. Player choice is more difficult, but if the game is after the MAHA state, players can be re-rostered and a B player may qualify for it - if that is how the district has established it. Just as B players are eligible for selects at 15. But players should not be made aware of selection to the team at this time.

I don't know where people are getting this information but I am coaching the Saint Paul team and as of this morning I have not gotten any information on this game. I don't know what the date is but I was told I would be contacted with info. regarding the game.

Icypalm I see you have been on the board about peewee stuff. Usually about peewee 'A' stuff. My son is a better player on the Washburn peewee A team. I asked his coach about this annual all star game and info would be coming soon. Would you know the coach for this team?? Send me a message please - I'd like to get know how this thing works.

Ok, so I went and did some research. If Como gets to bring up the "B" players, then Edison needs to get a shot because they didn't have an "A" team either this year (or haven't for many years). AND Since SW/SLP didn't merge at the "B" level, the SLP players shouldn't be allowed. Fair is Fair. Why should there be all these exceptions. We don't do it in the REAL world.

Rinkrat95, I only heard through the grapevine that the Washburn coach is in charge of one team and the Johnson coach in charge of the other. I don't know any of the details you would have to probably call the district president for help.

the little I know about this games is this.... This the "TC District Peewee All-Star Game" Any player that played in the TC District at the Peewee level should be eligible. Shouldn't really matter what team, association or level you played. If there are players that played 'B' level because their association choose not to field an A team that deserve to play in the game, let them play. If they take the place of a player that played A hockey this season, then maybe that player should not have been in the game in the first place. Just try to get the best players in the TC District to play in this game. The feeling I am getting from a lot of people on this board is: EVERYONE is against YOU or YOUR CHILD or YOUR ASSOCIATION. Get off of it, that is NOT the case. Nobody is here to HOLD YOU DOWN. Nobody is here to cheat you intentionally. This "All-Star Game" should be meant to have about 25-30 KIDS play a GAME, have some FUN, and meet some other players that they have played against ALL SEASON. It really is NOTHING ELSE. YES, I am bitter. SOME of you make me sick.

oh i love this thread my kids gona play in the NHL 15 years from now he should get a shot at the game too.. he has 120 goals this year and 10 assists.. hes a real snipper and hes better than all your kids..

I talked to one of the coaches last night and he said kids would be contacted shortly that some of the teams are at regionals and they are busy in that situation.

My son is going to play in this game and I don't appreciate you ripping it like that. I think its a great time for kids to have fun. Even if the fat guy from johnson is coaching.
