Ben Persian should be on 4th line. I would put Everson most likely on 2nd line, and Pitlick is not a standout player from what I have seen. Schriener is much better than Pitlick. Maybe put Stutz in from Centenial in there as well. How bout this, take your top 4 first lines in the state, and match them with different people. For top first lines go with, Edina, Centenial, Hopkins, MG. Or if you want to throw in WBL's or Oronos line in there go ahead also. This could be interesting.

I had stutz in there already.

Most of those first line guys are in aleady.

Edina-Everson,Budish,Gaarder
MG-Gross,Walford,Malone
Centennial-Hess,Pitlick,Schniener
Orono-Persian,Skoog,Devries
Hopkins-Fink,Seashore,Hicks
Not sure on WBL's...

Seashore and Hicks dont belong in there. All the rest could all be in there as well though.

My bad with Stutz, just skimmed it . Agreed with Seashore and Hicks, without Fink they would be nothing. I would really like to see Everson, Fink, Kray play together. That would be something.

I say if i could put together a line id be:
On the wings you got T.Johnson and C.Hanson(orono). And centering them would be Fink. Maybe not a pure dominance line but i think they would get a lot done.

Then id say on D i'd have Putney and Baker with either McMahon or Collete in the net.

kray, fink, everson

Post by grizisastud »

That would be a sweet line. I haven't seen Kray play yet but Everson is probably the biggest niper in the state and Fink is probably the best player in the state. And from what I hear Kray must be pretty good. Which goalie do you think is better.... Collete or McMahon?

Man who is better? Now that is a good question. I would say McMahon but only because i havent seen enough of Collete to decide whether he is better or not. They are both terrific tenders and id say it could go either way.

Collete/McMahon

Post by TheHockeyGodsWereWithUs »

The two are very similar and very close in ability level. Only difference is Collete has a great defence in front of him, when McMahon has an average defence in front of him. I think McMahon on a good defensive team would be more dominant than he already is. I'd go with McMahon, but that's just me.

You all need to watch a few games outside of district 6. There are many talented hockey players I could name 20 that would be your dream team.

Whether you like it or not district 6 is home to some of the best teams in minnesota given that they happpen to produce some of the best players in minnesota. However you might want to take a second look at that list becasue i seen plenty of players that dont compete in D6...Johnson,Fink,Putney,Persian, the list goes on.

2nd year bantams playing high school

Post by grizisastud »

There's a lot of freshman playing varsity just as good as them. Danny Mattson - Holy Angels, 2 defense on holy angels. Tyler Zapeda - Hill Murray. And for district 6 being over rated or whatever. On that list of the "Dream Team" there's only Edina players the one Chaska guy so i don't see how theres too many.

First of all, Colten Schwartz is not bantam eligable. Not quite sure where you got that from. And I head that Kristo was a really old freshman and that he isnt bantam eligable either, but im not for sure on Kristo.

You missed quite a few others:
Corey Thorson-Armstrong
Joey Reykamp-(Wayzata)Breck
Josh Birkholtz-(Maple Grove)Blake
Pat Borer-(Armstrong)Benilde
Tommy Zimmerman-(WSP)Cretin Durham Hall
Trevor Thompson-(Brooklyn Park)Benilde
Nick Jenson-Rogers
Riley Horgan-Mound
Berkly Scott-Anoka

ALL of those players that I just named would be very, very, very,VERY good bantams. Except for maybe a few that would just be pretty good in Reykamp and Birkholtz.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... LIGHT39 at: 1/15/06 2:31 pm
