Sounds like fun, Hey Barado brothers are you guys going and should we wear the shorts and sunglasses like we did at the regionals? Joe if your little problem is cleared up maybe you can walk normal.

travis kurth is the best tc goalie with a record of 37-0-2 in the past 3 years of associtation games, considering he plays for the best aaa team in the state (the 93 predators) he is in the top 5 in the state. what is brandons record??

Kurth is a "B" goalie,
Hoffman is an "A" goalie - how do you compare the two?

Not really fair, but to each his own.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... dan2036 at: 3/13/06 9:06 pm

I coach at the Peewee A level in the TC district and I'm wondering where this Kurth kid plays. Is he an "A" goalie. Cause there haven't been any goalies that played unbeaten like that for awhile.

I think he plays for Como. But they didn't have an "A" team this year. If he was really that good, then he should have waivered out to another association that has an A program. Then I'm sure someone would have picked him for this All Star Game.

That would make sense. Como didn't have an A team this year.

I think programs need to go A, but I'm not getting into that one again. You can go back a read my comments from other threads.

So, why should this kurth be in the all star game?

He should play because he's the best goalie in the TC district.

Look at the title of this thread.

It doesn't say "A" Game. The season is over, they are all peewees. Oh, wait, what about players that are now Bantams? Once the State tournaments are played, are these kids considered the next level?

yes kurth is B goalie for como. the same goalie that a coach from johnson took from A squirt down to C pee-wee so we went to como who welcomed us with open arms. They had the A pee-wee team picked a week before we came over. so he was the only B goalie. Travis has a lot of good friends there just as he has good friends at johnson still. As far as the parents we have very good friends at both association. Travis was offered a spot on a A team this year outside are district. He wanted to stay at como and yes I could have forced him to go. I let my boys choose where they want to play its not about me to brag and say my son plays on a A . team its about him where he is happy. Not to say I dont brag becuase I do. Our family holds no grudge against johnsons association because of one coachs decision. Their lost not ours. Next year who knows. P.S. como ice is all paid for.

This is a perfect example of a parent who thinks his son is a super star. If the TC district allows a "B" and I mean a "B" player to play then why not allow some of the girls to participate too. This guy needs a reality check, If your son was that good buddy why didn't you just get a tryout with the Wild? Sour grapes!!!!!!!!!!:

Pimp Daddy is back!!!!!!!

In Hibbing I would bet your son would have trouble making one of our traveling teams. Every one know how weak the TC district teams are anyway and your son didn't even play "A" end of story. Try again next year!!!!!!!

Who is this mq32b,
Since when can you put a "B" goaltenders stats and compare them to an "A" goaltenders stats? This guy is really living his life through his kid. Granted his record is impressive but I bet there might be some in house goalies that can match those stats. It sounds like they didn't have an "A" team at COMO but if he is that good why are they not in the State Tournament or is he blaming the team in front of him like he did one coach?

Is this guy refering to something you did to his kid and that is why he left your program at Johnson? And is he threatning something with this Como's ice bill is paid? Maybe he should stay where he is at if he is so happy maybe he can play "B" Bantams next year and than won't have a shot in H-LL at making the select 15's. Sounds like this guy is making some enemies.

I think that mq is way over the line calling out players that aren't even in the same levels.

And using a players name in such a bad way. I coach in the district and I don't remember any arms wide open. Maybe someone needs to stop with the lip running.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... dan2036 at: 3/14/06 8:18 am

On this goalie thing,
My son played with Travis as an A squirt a few years ago in the Johnson program and I'm more than happy to speak about how good he is. Its a shame to see you guys (who are supposed to be adults) picking on kids like this.

I would hope that Travis makes his choice next year based on what he wants to do. Its good to hear mq32b, that you don't force the team issue. It sounds like he could have played at the A's this year if he stayed at Johnson (and I do think he would have been better than either of the ones they had).

I saying if this goalie is that good maybe he should play"AAA" year round instead of playing for "B" teams.

I coach the goalies in the Washburn association and I've seen TONS of squirt/peewee/bantam games the past few years and I haven't heard of either of these guys until now. Good luck boys.

How nice is it for the JOHNSONPREZ guy to just come and go as he feels. As a coach for this game, I can't believe you just let these people talk about the players like this.

No thoughts eh?

Empty up top?
