Rinkrat95, If you coach goalies, and you've seen so many games, who do you take for a AAA team?

mq32b- I heard that the coach that cut your kid last year is going to coach at bantams next year. Good luck with that one.

Just got off the phone with a parent who knows this situation (AB) and I have to say, this is a lot about nothing. The dad of this como goalie went around badmouthing the coach from Johnson when his kid was cut from the A team, then the B team. BUT NEITHER OF THEM COACHED HIM. How could you badmouth someone about how they coach when they didn't coach him? This sounds like the sour grapes that someone was talking about earlier. I really hope this doesn't carry over, cause the same mom just told me that one of the coaches might go up and coach bantams.

Like Barado23 stated earlier in this post it sounds like the father is starting to make some enemies and those things seem to carry on for years. You know you make a name for yourself and the label sticks. So mq better be careful you don't know who or who isn't watching this board. hockeymom6z9 thank-you for your support. And for you Barado23 you can kiss my b=== like you do the coaches. You and hangumhigh should take some math lessons my son is 12 years old .Oh by the way I do have another son that was picked for the select 15 this year. And for you gildan you are not a coach at como, you would have known that travis played como and what level he played at. Your questions on 3-12-06 Proves that. Como needs all the kids they can get. Yes their arms are open.What kind of coach are you that threatens kids, that they can not play because you do not like thier parents that goes to show what kind of coach you are by your own statements. God help any kid or parent that might be involved with you. I know both the A-B bantams coachs and you are not one of them only in your dreams.

Hangemhigh I think you got some bad information I never asked for my son to play in the all-star game.I called Greg to tell him I thought that two forwards from como should be able to play.It's not thier fault that como did not have enough kids to play A's.

Interesting, that there is only one team at Johnson bantams - it was a B team this year. So who is the A coach of this mystery team??????

I want to know why the Johnson people haven't come out and said anything about this. Where did this parent get so jaded? Did something happen to his kid at Squirts? Someone please get this situation out in the open. I think this will taint the all star game if all we remember about it is this goalie thing.

I don't know anything about your whole situation other than to say that a "B" goaltender does not face the kind of shots that "A" Pee Wee goaltender so don't compare the two kids you posted about. I talked to the Johnson "A" Pee Wee coach and all he said to me is that he supported your decision and he said it is no one's business but his. He also told me that he made a suggestion to the coach in chief that the TC district have a "B" Pee Wee All Star game also.

I said that I was not going to say anymore about this situation but could everyone just take a deep breath and quit bashing eah other. What happened in the past has to stay there and it is time to move on. I seen on another thread that I told someone that I talked to the coach in chief in our district which I did suggesting that we have a "B" Pee Wee game also. It is to late this year but I think it is a good idea so as all the pee wee players start to get the idea about all star team and getting ready for the select 15 program. As far as a "A" Bantam coach at Johnson there has not been a decision on anything. We usually discuss our coaching situations after our whole season is over(after banquets which now are over). Again I will work with anyone who has anything that might improve our program here at Johnson.

I can't believe that Johnsonprez just doesn't tell this parent with the "B" goalie to stop with the whole thing. I have still not seen a "B" goalie that is this good. I watched alot of games this year and yes I seen the Como "B" team, but when the goalie of a dominate "B" team does not see many shots how good can he be. Como should have been "A" and they keep saying that they don't have the numbers. They should have played "C" and maybe won a chamionship and thje stats would even be better.

I don't agree with you Joe. I think that each program needs to look at the numbers every year and maybe some years they don't have the talent to play at the top. I think the goalie from Como is a very good goalie, who has played really well for a long time now. I say good luck to him and I hope your team has to play him, cause he'll be ready to shut you down (or up).

Gildan2036- You really think that Como should have been an "B" team? I have to go with my brother on this one, I think they had the talent to be at the A level. mq32b even said they picked the team to be A, but went down to the "B" level after the coaches who started quit right before the season.

That guy must be Al. He's a heck of a coach. No wonder they played so good. That makes a bunch more sense now.

Coach Al is one of the best coaches in the District. He gets those kids to play great hockey every game. I think this all star game needs to be voted on in the district playoffs, cause a coach like Al would have been the top vote getter in my opinion.
