Hmmm... a full ride to a perennial top 5 D-1 school in the country isn't necessarily considered "sucking big" or "going nowhere."

Bitter, bitter, bitter.

<a href="http://www.coloradocollege.edu/Athletic ...

This is a dumb topic. Mr. Hockey Squirts and Mites can't be far behind.
DUMB! DUMB! Icy, you missed MINI MITES............
Agree, we can sit here and type about this player or that player. The bottom line is some kids develop, mature quicker than others, the players you talk about now, may not even be mentioned by the time high school rolls around.

How could you be talking about thinking straight. Do you even read the post before you hit the send button?

fink

Post by grizisastud »

How does anyone know how many points he has? I'm sure he does have around that but who knows and also, i watched hopkins play osseo, and there's NO way he played 85% of the game. 85% means he was on the bench for less than 10 minutes out of a 45 minute game? I don't think so. Fink's the best player in the state though.

i would also say gaarder and everson just cause of the fact that they work as a unit. they are like telepathic on the ice. im not taking anything away from fink and i think that if he had one more great player around him that hopkins would have beat edina and also would have been in state. thats just my opinion. its not about who has the most points look at who won Mr. Hockey this year he wasnt the leading scorer in the state but he got picked

#88 on rosemount is Ryan Walters and im sorry but he is just not that good, he is ok, but he cant do anything without good players around him (unlike Fink) and if you hit him a few times he just checks out

PWA Mr Hockey

Post by Hockeyman10 »

If the PWA Mr Hockey were decided in the same way as the actual Mr. Hockey, I'd say this years winner was Andrew Ford, G, Eden Prairie. He led his team to the state title and is the best at his position, period. Bjugstad was the best forward we saw this year. Matt Campbell, D, from Mankato had the best hockey slang - he even invented the term "grenade".

If you had to pick one between Bjugstad or Ford, I would choose Ford. Just because, he led Ep to their first State Title since 1996 and played his best games against the other "powehouses" in the state. Ex. (Edina*5, Wayzata, and Lakeville S.)

BauerHoc you are prolly Ford just bragging yourself up. I've noticed you seem to know everything and say everything about Ford.
