Probably:
Novak - 2015
Norman - 2015
Lindgren - 2016

They're all good. Lindgren is REALLY good.

Looks like they have 9 D. If you bring in 3 freshmen, you are probably going to play them. Which returning D are healthy scratches of play on the 4th line?

I'd turn that probably into a maybe. This is Big 10 hockey and the D that are coming in are true freshmen. That's a big jump. It's also been the continuing problem with the gophers as older teams, like Mankato and Yale to name a couple, beat them last year. Good players, yes. Ready for D1 hockey, we'll see. I'm surprised the Gophs don't look at some older players and stop granting these dads their wish by bringing in their sons as true freshmen. They sign several top players and it ends up hurting them. Interesting approach. The forwards are good but also all true freshmen except for Kloos. In today's D1 hockey that's very unusual.

Who am I missing? I keep counting 8 D. :?:

Bischoff
Brodzinski
Holl
Marshall
Parenteau
Reilly, M
Skjei
Vannelli

And both Holl and Parenteau skated at forward a fair amount last season.

You're right, only 8. Which 2 will be out of the top 6?

My guess is Vannelli and Bischoff, but no one will know until after the early practices. As I said, Holl and Parenteau both skated forward last season and you might see one of them rotated up again to get one of the frosh in the line-up.

I heard Lucia say last year that Holl will be one of his d this year. I doubt you will see him playing forward.

My guess is that you will see 1 or 2 of the freshman sitting a lot, or playing some 4th line forward. I predict Bichoff and Vannelli will be in this category, coming straight from HS.
