Scott was recently named head coach at Hamline.

Curious how a guy with little to no coaching experience gets a head coaching job at the D3 level?

It's Hamline. The administration didn't care much about the program in the 80's and 90's when Tressel was the AD (hmmm what happened to him- brother of Ohio State football coach?) They got lucky when Scott Bell took over and didn't care enough to keep him.

The dude only runs the top college summer league in Minnesota, coached several Blades teams.

And for those whom haven't seen him, he's a great skating & skills coach......

I agree, I know Scott, great guy and does a nice job with the Blades. Good Luck to him.
