NFL protests,....

Post by goldy313 »

In a sport that really can't afford a whole lot of negative perceptions due to many issues; including brain damage and domestic violence......it seems they would take the high road somewhere. I have been pretty forgiving of the players taking a knee or sitting as the NFL pretty much took money for Patriotic advertising the past decade and has no rule against it. I respect your first amendment rights, but if that is your fall back then you can't, as the Oakland Raiders.....among others.....then protect the sitting or kneeling players from being photographed by the press.....another first amendment right.

Tonight changed my mind, when 2 Kansas City players refused to stand for a moment of silence for the nearly 600 people killed or wounded in Las Vegas, then had team mates try and stop photographs of them being taken, they became the end for me. Growing up in Southern Minnesota they were my team as they were on every Sunday on NBC, I have followed them ever since I can remember.

I am done with the NFL.
