If you talk to the last 5 classes to graduate from Moorhead and play hockey or even be a fan they would rather make it to state and loose then not go at all. True it would be nice to have the title, but what Moorheads done the last ten years is pretty special. <p></p><i></i>

The fact that a year is seen as a failure if Moorhead doesn't win state shows how good the program is. Moorheads big game is the state championshiop, Roseau's is a section championship game. Thats seven years ago so the seniors were ten or eleven, and the freshman were six or seven. How many kids under eleven do you see at state? No one from Moorhead has seen there team win a state title, but they are still a part of state every year.
