I love how some people on here pull rank... Packerboy comes out and says "if you knew anything about HS Hockey and its traditions"... and he is telling me to loosen up... thats a pretty blunt statement .. i caught on to the last line of your post... I simply said I always THOUGHT you were the West Fargo coach with your screen name and all.... sounded like you knew all this stuff about Fargo South and ND Hockey and come to find out you have never even been there....!!!! but yet I am the idiot when it comes to the South-Moorhead comments.. interesting...

Hey Slappy ... nice try on your edit on page 6 of this thread (See Slappy's post # 3782). You originally said that Moorhead would kill Roseau in Roseau on Tuesday night (Jan. 24) then you went back in and edited your prediction on Wednesday (Jan. 25) a full day after the event took place saying that Roseau would win. birdmister, your opening post said Roseau lost to Totino Grace 4-1 in a game they dominated. You failed to let the faithful know that Roseau had 9 power plays. 8 of them 5 on 4. One of them 5 on 3. TOTINO GRACE DID NOT HAVE ONE POWER PLAY THE ENTIRE GAME! Nice home cooking yet still got handed a 4-1 loss by that crappy private school single A team????? I suppose after the 9-0 can of WHoop A$$ you got last year, it helped to try and get some alumni ref the game. When was the last time anyone has ever seen a team take no penalties? Especially the rough and tough on the border of Cananda Roseau Rams?

3for3...I agree, and disagree. I agree that yes, the officials were making up some hometown cookin. LOTS of bad calls in that game. Ive said it before and I'll say it again, I found myself asking WHAT quite often. What I disagree with is that Totino was the better team. All of the penalty calls came in the second half of the game, before and during this, Roseau had complete control. Totino's first goal....came off of a turnover, and was also their first goal. Roseau dominated again, but again another turnover, and Totino's second goal came on their second shot. The first goal was a breakaway, the second a 2 on 1, or 2 on 0 I beleive. I don't remember the third goal, but I do know the fourth was on an empty net. Roseau controled this game, ran into a HOT goalie, and lost. And to bring last year's 9-0 slaughter into this makes little sense, if any at all. Totino is not nearly as good as they were last season, and Roseau is a lot better than last season. Two different teams, two different games. I know a tie is a lot like kissing your sister, but think of it more like kissing a really hot step-sister.
