Info on Lee, VandeVelde, and Fisher

Post by hockeyfan24 » Wed Mar 16, 2005 9:16 pm

As a SPUDS fan I was wondering if someone could help me out...

I know that those three are all playing for other teams now but I was just wondering if anyone knows how their transitions from high school to junior teams went..and also if there's somewhere you can go to keep up with how they're doing. I would look myself but I'm finding myself to not have a lot of time to search around for it.

Fisher is playing for the Indiana Ice if we're getting specific<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"> . Not sure how things are holding up with that team though, they've Fired/resigned their GM/Head coach, and another coach in the past year. Only second year in Indiana though, cutting loose ends maybe.

First year speedreader. OLD Danville Wings, Suppliers of sub-par talent to SCSU. But they have turned it around only to drop game #1 to sioux falls tonight. TJ OSHIE did the damage. Drew Fisher is indeed on the team. But I believe his last team played column is different than his hometown one. When will one of these USHL teams wake up and take Clukey? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"> Gifford is on team, Deutz was recently released. New Coach is Grillo, of Warhead fame. He re-defined "pluggin in the car" after every G in the Gardens. Look for more Merehead flavor in Indianas future. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin"> #500 "in memory of videoscout"

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... zero>BELOW 0 ZERO at: 3/19/05 1:29 am

Just looked at the boxscore, Indiana is currently winning 3-1 in the 2nd. Fischer has scored, looks like his first goal (and point). Oshie scored for Souix Falls.

That is correct. Fisher scored his first USHL goal in Indiana's 3-1 win over Sioux Falls. Oshie beat Indiana with an OT winner last night. Two fantastic northern MN players doing well in the USHL!!! Great to hear!!!

Yeah, Johnson was one fast skater. For the next level he may have had to work on his skills a little more. Not saying they are bad, its just the D1 level is one big step.
