Word is that Moorhead's JV would give a run at the 8AA title if the varsity team was taken out of the section.

Hibbing JV

Post by statehockey22 » Fri Dec 24, 2004 11:29 pm

I think the hibbing JV team is pretty darn good, and would give there varsity team run for there money....if i were to place bets on it i would bet that the JV team would prevail....from the games i watched these guys are pretty dominant...i cant wait to see moorheads JV undefeated streak come to an end! it will be great!

Hibbing JV Team

Post by HHS HoCkEy FaN » Sat Dec 25, 2004 2:51 pm

your right statehockey Hibbing's JV is pretty dominant only lost one game and it was too hastings and tied with warroad. They outshot both teams by a pretty nice margin. I also think that Hibbing's JV team would prevail on thier varsity. Can't wait to see HIbbing's JV against Moorheads team it will be a good one.

I would agree that Moorhead JV is one of the best JV teams around the state. But anyone NUTS enough to say they could go to state! COME ON! I watched Hill Murray JV last night with 5 9th graders lose 5-3 to Moorehaed! They are NO state contenders!

Hibbing has the best jv team in the state by far. They have an explosive and quick offense and solid defense that would embarass any other jv team in the state including Moorhead. Hibbing and Moorhead play later this year so we'll have to see if Hibbing just beats them or if Hibbing shuts them out like they have for every other team they've played.

(I'd also watch out for Nick Kepler, he'll make you wish you were never born after he knocks your lights out with his signature bone crushing hits.)

Hibbing Hardly got past grand rapids. One good bounce in the final five minutes to win 2-1. Unless GR played amazing, that doesnt impress me one bit, IR teams should be crushed by the top team in the state.

Let's just skip passed North Dakota teams, Fargo's JV was up 2-0 for a good 35 minutes until 5 or 6 penalties for them down 3-2 against Moorhead. In a Minnesota tournament they also outscored opponents 25-3.

boblee

Hibbing's JV was not playing that night at all. Not like they usually do. If they would ahve played like they did when they played warroad that game would have been like 6-1. They out shot warroad i think it was somewhere in the 40's to like 20 something. They love to shoot the puck but not that night against Rapids for some reason

hibbing plays in rochester this weekend, and they should win both games by at least 5 goals

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... key1033 at: 1/7/05 2:46 pm

From what I've seen and heard Fargo Souths JV team could give any MN JV team a run for their money.

boblee

They didn't shott as much and if they could have capitilized on the few scrambles they had a very good chance at of putting it in the back of the net they didn't. come Jan 15th to the Hibbing Memorial Building and watch them against Int. Falls (prob not much compitition there but you know) and you will see that they are one of the best JV teams. they did move Luke Davis, i think travis marsh and thier jv goalie up from jv but the goalie only as back up.

fargo south

Post by mnhockey1033 » Sat Jan 08, 2005 12:06 am

fargo could beat most jv team in minnesota, they would beat hibbing and would give moorhead a run if hibbing is equal to moorhead

I haven't seen them play but once, however, Eden Prairie may have lost one game (I think to ER?) during a holiday tournament. Other than that, I heard they have done very well. They could get a vote.

I Falls lost to GR 7-2 the other night. and I believe they lost to greenway like 5-3 a couple nights earlier. I will come if Hibbing plays moorhead or Grand Rapids anytime soon.

Rapids JV

I have not been following them too close but I think Rapids JV is very solid this season. Can anyone confirm their record? Thanks

Post by statehockey22 » Sun Jan 09, 2005 4:06 pm

hibbing has already played and beaten GR this year..i think the score was 3 to 2 or something but i know that hibbing didnt show up to play that night, meanin that they are a real good team if they still can beat GR and not play to there potential...hibbing v moorhead will be a very good game to watch...i believe hibbing will come out on top tho
