Moorhead's JV is very good! Half of there team is juniors and 5 or 6 of the juniors could be starting for a lot of varsity teams. They are year in and year out very tough and well coached.

Almost beating is not a loss. I recall them beating you by 6 goals. This team has at least 7 shutouts this year alone. They have beaten AA JV teams by 10 and 12 goals, however the coach will pull the top players after a big lead and let the lower end of the roster play. What good comes from beating a team 20-0? Not much. Have your players pass the puck at least 4 times before trying to score. Create a penality and let the kill unit get some work. Any way until the PTown Tigers play Moorhead, will never know which JV team is the best. If and when you lose a game and Moorhead is still undefeated, Moorhead is the better team. BTW are you single A or AA and does your JV play the schedule as the Varsity?<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

thank you nwhky for your infinite wisdom..."almost beating is not a loss"...i'm glad i have you around to clarify things for me when the going gets tough. i'm also really happy you gave us all some tips on how not to beat a team by 20 pts. i know i'll really use this some day in life, so i thank you greatly for the lengthy explanation.

Yeah Princetons JV is the best by far it would kill Moorhead but yeah they wont play cause it would be a waste of money to send our team up there to kill Moorhead like 30-0 thats why they will never play.

Thank you for a failed attempt at humor. It really must be boring and frustrating to have such a poor hockey year. I mis quoted when I said all most winning is still a loss, sorry I meant to say all most winning is not a win. Your JV team should know that, because they have more all most wins than they do wins. Good luck in Moorhead on Sat.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

For your information I'm not an ass and I'm not a hot head. Your screen name smells like Roseau. What other school in the state of Minnesota is a Ram? I guess I have not heard of your team.
Have a nice week end. Thank you for finally informing me of where another Rams team is located, only problem is never heard of Ramsey, is it in Minnesota? Are they single A or AA, or are they JR Gold? Please calm down and don't call people names that you don't know. You and Ram1995 represent Ramsey very well.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

Holy Angels JV

Post by slapshotbg » Wed Jan 29, 2003 5:23 pm

I think that Holy Angels has the best Jv team. They only have 1 loss in the regular season and outscore opponents 9:1. recently they beat shattuck's U-16 team 3-0 proving their capabilities. I am sure they could beat a lot of varsity teams.

i hope your kidding me??? first AHA JV is horrible except for barribal and their frosh goalie. i saw the SSM game and that was their 4th tier team and they were horrible as well. about half the JV's in the Lake are probably better then both of those teams. stop making stupid post. the only reason you guys (AHA) outscore opponets 9:1 is b/c you guys play a worthless schedule. come to the Lake and play some good teams

OK first of all your sweet. I'm sure they would love to play any team you had to offer and would give them a spanking. They have three kids that are currently on suspension who led the team and could probably compete with a lot of varsity kids.

teal01 is right, we are just fighting over jv teams. I am done. I guess we'll leave it up to varsity to decide which is the better team.

yeah private schools have some good jv teams but, for a public school delano has a good jv team which private schools in its section cant even beat... like holy family and st cloud cathedral.
