Looks to me as if Roseville out of the Suburban East is going to have another battle with Stillwater, White Bear and Cretin possibly for the conference title.

In the game against BSM Cloquet enjoyed a huge differential in penalties and power plays, and without them the score differential would probably have been greater. I know after two periods the penalty count was 12-2, and Cloquet had two 5 on 3 advantages for almost two minutes each (they scored on one of them). Despite all of their penalty problems, BSM had a slight edge in total shots for the game.

Looking at some of the comparable scores and games and having seen them play, I think Forest Lake should be ranked in the top 20. They will be a competitive team.

Forest Lake is much improved over last year, and they have outstanding goaltending. The shots last night were STillwater 40 F/L 19. The goaltending was clearly the difference. I think it is too early to be shuffling teams up and down the rankings - maybe after 10-12 games it would be more accurate, but no doubt F/L will win their share this year.

It looks like Duluth, Cloquet, and GRG are all in full contention. The darkhorse may be PHM.
