Orono @ Mahtomedi

Post by HShockeywatcher » Mon Dec 25, 2006 11:19 am

Possibly the most important game of the top of the Bronze Bracket and the first game too. Two teams we could see playing in March this year.

i believe mahtomedi is good but orono is better...mahtomedi has saltz leading the first line but orono has more depth...it should still be a close one though

orono 4

mahtomedi 3

This should be a good game. I haven't seen either team, but I have heard a lot about both of them, and from what I gather they are relatively evenly matched...by MSHL standards...

Mahtomedi 3
Orono 3

Orono wins shootout and advances.

shoot out would be good to see between these two teams but i think mahtomedi has saltz and thats most of it i agree with leftwinger15 Orono has lots of depth and 2 very well coached lines ill pick
Orono 4 (ENG)
Mahtomedi 2

I'm thinking...

Orono - 2
Mahtomedi - 1

That's what I thought initially, but either way it sounds like it was a good game! Were you there?

Yes...Chris Hanson got the first goal for Orono in the first. Mahtomedi got a PP Goal with about 2:30 remaining in the third. McClure get the game winner with about 40secs remaining in the game on a great shot from the slot.

I watched the game and it was a very well played game by both sides. Shots were almost even with mahtomedi edging orono by 3-4 i think but peterson for orono played phenomenal!!
