Crookston vs. Hermantown 12/28

Post by Zamboni Guy » Wed Dec 27, 2006 6:54 pm

Crookston and Hermantown are facing off at 5:00 in the Thief River Falls Classic. Crookston lost to Virginia 4-3 on Wednesday and Hermantown stayed undefeated by shuting out East Grand Forks 3-0. Any thoughts or predictions on this match up in TRF?

Winless vs. Lossless. Outcome of this won't be surprising.

Although, if this outcome goes against the grain, this will be one of those bridge games. Meaning, Crookston will go on and be beaten by someone who will be beaten by someone else. Hermantown will go on and beat someone, who will go on to beat someone else. Therefore, at the end of the year, by comparing scores, one could draw the conclusion that North Branch should beat Cloquet if they actually played each other.

Don't look for the Pirates to do any scoring until at least the 10 minute mark of the third. The only question is, will it be 3 zip or 9 zip?

5-2 Hawks right now so somehow the pirates found the net early

So...if we talk about "bridge games".... There was one tonight, Duluth Marshall beat Superior 4 or 5-1. Hermantown beat Superior 10-1? For comparison, I'm not going to look up actual scores but this would mean that when Hermantown and Marshall square off next Thurs. that the outcome would be a 5 goal Hermantown win :?:
