Nor Pac ?

Post by larsey » Fri Aug 25, 2006 9:39 am

Does anyone have Info. about Nor Pac? I am trying to learn as much as I can about this Divison and am having little luck finding Info. on line. I am especially interested in the Bozeman Icedogs and John LaFontaine.

Thanks for any and all help

Boze...

John is a great coach. He has been in Bozeman for some time. He's a strong Christian and coaches with morals and ethics.

Good place to learn, bad place for exposure. Look to the CSHL if things didn't work out in the MJHL.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Is this league worthy of looking at for tryouts? I was invited to tryout for the Missoula Maulers, but I don't want to go to a team that gets no exposure. Any help would be great!

If your gonna play Tier III just stay in MN or possibly Dubuque to save some money because the league is a little spendy unless your just dying to get out of the house.

Actually I know that the NORPAC costs $4,000 compared to the MJHL's $5,000

I know the Ice Hawks cost $2,800 last year, and with st louis out who knows if it will go down.

But I do know getting looks from college would be worth paying extra money, NO D-3 or bottom D-1 school has the budget to take the dogsled to Bozemen or most NorPac cities. If you were looking to go WHL and were 15 and REALLY GOOD maybe NorPac but these guys are right. Try the MJHL first.

Even if NorPac is 4,000 compared to 5 you still have to pay for housing each month which will be over 5 at the end of the year plus all the other misc.
