If he goes, a good friend and source with the Wild says it will be the Rangers. He has a yearning for a faster life than the Twin Cities offers.

The Wild got Petr Kalus (prospect-18 pts for Houston this year) and a 4th round draft pick for Fernandez. I guess I don't see your logic...

petr kalus has a lot of upside at being only 19...look what round datsyuk, demirta were drafted in....late in the draft

I know a lot about Petr Kalus. He is my favorite prospect in the Wild orginization. Again, your logic is bad. It's been a year since Manny was traded and the Wild have had zero impact from their half of the trade.

I understand that, but you said something along the lines of...look what we got for Fernandez and tried to tell us that somehow that means we should get a lot for Gabby. Your logic doesn't fit.

Is Marian worth up to 20% of the WILD's salary cap? That what is granted and he will be going for it!

I would say trade him and grab Evgeni Malkin from the Pittsburgh when he is becomes available. They will has salary cap problems soon!

You will never see Malkin in a Wild uniform.

Gaborik and Rolston will stay this year. I can almost guarantee it. Look for the wild to target a top line center possibly with Pouliot or PMB being trade bait.

and as far as the fernandez trade goes, it was a salary dump. Plain and Simple
