Our team played Lakeville twice in their tournament in December and they are the best we've seen. Big, strong, fast, they have it all. It's been a while, but it looks like they're playing as well as ever right now.
We scrimmaged CG twice early in the year. They're very good. They've had an up and down season like Highland, but right now they are up. They know Lakeville better than anyone and could give them a tough time.
We scrimmaged Edina twice also early in the season. They're really deep, and their 'big gun' is hard to stop. You can tell they're very well coached too as are all these teams.
Highland has had an up and down season, but right now I'd have to say they're playing as well as a U12 team can play. Beating Wayzata on Saturday by 3 goals when that's what they had to do to go on to Sunday and then holding off Edina to win in overtime left us all in awe of these girls. Hopefully they will remain anonymous long enough to get 3 surprise wins up in Grand Rapids. What we all would like most is that they have the time of their lives that they'll be able to remember forever.

The best thing that can happen is that these girls are allowed to have a life experience they will never forget. Keep it in perspecive and enjoy watching your daughters enjoy themselves. In the end that's all that matters. Be a good fan, be a good role model and keep your mouth shut unless you have something positive to say.
