And in 2006, we were one out from going to Nationals.
In 2000 we were in the region final game with Iowa, but were outclassed that year (but on a positive side 4 of the 12 kids are playing college baseball).

That pitcher that you guys had was amazing for a 12 year old.

Like the odometer on the car, it resets to zero when you reach a certain point.sinbin006 wrote:You're showing your age again Elliottelliott70 wrote:Yes, I did.matthebat wrote: Did you coach the team that made it to Nationals?

Although it really wasn't 200 the fact that I would type that really shows my age.
Ryan Hirt, very gifted and strong athlete, and throws left-handed.matthebat wrote:That pitcher that you guys had was amazing for a 12 year old.elliott70 wrote:Yes, I did.matthebat wrote: Did you coach the team that made it to Nationals?

2006 Tyler Tatro, strongest 12 year old arm I have ever seen and best hitter.
2000, Ross Olson, skiny little left hander that could put the ball where he wanted with a variety of speed. Sam Anderson, similar to Hirt, but righthanded.

You guys had a guy who could throw faster than Ryan Hirt, that is almost hard to beleive. I think he struck out more than 90% of our team.

Ryan is a very good ball player. If he continues to work hard and avoids a serious injury, he could play college ball. His sister has committed to U of M in basketball as a sophomore.matthebat wrote:You guys had a guy who could throw faster than Ryan Hirt, that is almost hard to beleive. We just played them today. We ended up splitting with them ryan only pitched 2 innings in the game we won though. But yes i agree he definatly has the potential to go to a good college.
