Game Report

Post by northwoods oldtimer » Fri Dec 18, 2009 8:50 am

Game report I got from my son who was in attendance at Braemar Arena.
1st period: very even play both ways, with both teams getting good chances. shots 13 -10 in favor of Edina. Great pace.

2nd period: Edina controlled the play the entire period. Rapids with a let down in the period matching Edina tempo

3rd period: Rapids matches Edina in tempo and intensity despite series of penalties.

Comments: 2 goals disallowed for Rapids one on a John Skrbec blast from just inside blueline and the other on a Patrick Moore top shelf shot over sprawling Edina tender. Aaron Foss of Grand Rapids plays great in nets.
