is not.,.....they played last year in the section quarterfinals and mayo won 8-0 or 7-0../

i beleve Van Gualder has a strong game and has to stand on his head due to lack of defence he has.....and mayo wins this 4-2 with an en

Mayo has played their best hockey down the stretch and should be able to win this one. I think Mayo will be rested from not playing Saturday.

Mayo 5
Dodge County 1

The team that wins will be the huge underdog at LS

Mayo will win this one 6-1. Sounds like South will not have there injured players back until the finals (If then). There road just got a little tougher. Not saying that Mayo will have a chance to beat them but more of looking at the big picture.

I think Dodge County will win. Both teams are highly inconsistent. The winner will be the team who brings their A game. Each team has also played good and bad against certain teams.
Dodge County- 5-4 lose in OT against Winona- Good
2-2 Tie against Luverne-Bad
Mayo- Win 7-5 vs Albert Lea-Good
Lose 2-12 vs Rochester Century
Dodge County and Mayo are close/tied in talent for offense
Mayo has better Defense
Dodge County has better Goaltending
I predict the score will be 3-1 DC if they play good like they did against Winona. If they play PLEASE BAN ME then they will lose 4-1
Who ever wins will get bragging rights, and when they play LS they will probably get piss pounded. We will see

Almost as long as DmanDad1980...

A lot of thought and some good insight for a 1st time forum blogger, but for the Mayo/DC game... hmmmm... :?

I don't know if I would give that big of an advantage to LS. The last time these two teams played it was 6-0 and 2-0 after two. They also played that game without Spencer Lee and a true first line. Also Van Galder has played well down the stretch and Mayo seems to have found that spark. But for the game Tuesday, I'm saying Mayo 7-2.

The last time these two teams played Mayo's goalie was fantastic, score could have been far worse. Upsets happen every year and this could be one of them, but first they have to win a game and then they'll need to have a far better effort to have any chance. Mayo's record against Century and L North would indicate this will be a very difficult task.

Who's the goalie for Dodge County? They're going to need him to play well to win this.

Mayo gets the "W" in OT, 3-2. Ulland and Wohlfiel score for DC, and Sikkema and Powers score 2 for Mayo.

Mayo didn't have the emotion or spark at all. DC beat them to all of the pucks, were much more physical, and had a lot more energy. I think Mayo just wanted the season to be over, because that's the way they played tonight. Be a disappointing way to end Lorne Grosso's career with this season. Hopefully he comes back.
