XL Hockey High School Recreation League

Post by xlhockey » Tue Oct 05, 2010 12:07 am

We're always looking for new players, so if you're interested in a youth/high school recreation league, please contact us and join this year.

The XL Hockey League is the #1 option for any young kid interested in playing hockey while pursuing other interests. Hockey is a very demanding sport that takes up a lot of time, costs a lot of money, and has the potential to injure someone for any given amount of time. XL Hockey gives students the chance to play quality hockey while still being able to enjoy other things such as: time with their friends, studying for school, playing other sports, working at a job or simply relaxing during a hectic week of school!

The league is similar in nature to a recreation hockey league and was created to offer players an organized, fun, non-threatening, no-check hockey game once every week (Sunday's at Mariucci and/or Ridder Arena from Late November to March).

Playing one hockey game a week will give you the time to snowboard, do your homework, skate outdoors, go on family vacations, spend holidays wherever you want and do whatever else you want!

But most importantly, the XL Hockey League keeps you in the game that you love!

Teams can be created with players in and around your community, so if you’re short on kids in your neighborhood, talk to neighboring communities. The league can also place individual players on teams.

We believe that offering a league that focuses on skating, passing and scoring will be a fun experience and keep more players in the game.

Hockey is a game that can be played for a lifetime and by offering a fun and safe place to play, more kids will keep playing!

XL HOCKEY IS A PROUD AFFILITATE OF USA HOCKEY AND MINNESOTA HOCKEY.
