TOP JUNIOR players by position

Post by Saywhat?03 » Mon Jan 31, 2011 6:07 pm

Well I havent seen anything on top junior players so far this year. The junior year is big in terms of positioning for scholarships and juniors. Who is going to be getting some looks at the end of the year and going into next year?

Already committed:

AJ Michaelson - Minnesota

justin kloos- uncommitted

Currently 9th in the state in points, however has played less games than those in front of him, and is averaging the 3rd most points per game.

CJ will be the best player in the conference next year. Has D1 potential, however, he will likely play D1 baseball for the U. Quite an athlete.

Sophomore defenseman from Grand Rapids, Jake Bischoff. Smartest defenseman I've seen since Goligoski. Plus, he is one hell af catcher for the baseball team. He will most likely be able to choose which D1 sport he wants to play. Not to mention he's one of the nicest/mature kids to play the game.

I was hoping someone could get a list put together of top pts for forwards and defenseman that are juniors. I know its a time commitment but i have seen some before that help people get a better understanding of where the ids stand.

i first hand know points arent everything, but its a place to start.

And i dont have any idea where to start with putting a list together, hopefully someone with more hockey site savvy can help us here!!!!!

There are plenty of seniors that still need to commit yet, but I think there's a few juniors on this list that will be offered in no time. Not based on any inside info, but I could imagine Kloos to St. Cloud, Lucia to Notre Dame, and Torrel to UMD. I don't know much about the rest.

sam klien, buffalo: has a reasonable amount of points for a defensemen but plays really solid in the defensive and neutral zones, also can set up solid plays

Blake Schmidt, buffalo: not the best save percentage but puts up with alot of shots from top teams and makes the saves

Maybe he is holding him hostage to keep his job. You know...If you can me, then my kid will go somewhere else!

However, he may not be that caliber of a player as of right now...
