Cascade M11 helmet problems

Post by 3wildboys » Thu Jan 13, 2011 6:54 pm

My son was hit with a puck to the ear while wearing his new M11 helmet. It was a horrific cut and he needed a plastic surgeon to piece the ear back together. He lost two chunks of his ear and a lot of blood(size of a face-off dot). Please contact me if you know of any other players injured wearing the M11. I don't want this to happen to another player.

There is a whole thread on this in the HS section....CONTACT Mike Liam at Cascade as he's been very good about answering questions about the helmet: 952 933 9625

We have the M11s on our team and throughout this season, everytime i make hard contact with another player my forehead gets a large gash. Ive checked and double checked the helmet but theres nothing that seems like an obvious result. Its basically been a gameday routine having to have my forehead fixed up. Anyone else have issues like that with this helmet?

Yes, you are not the only one. Here is a thread discussing this issue; many people have similar experiences with the M11.

I hope this helped.
