I have been a JG parent for two years now. I have had the pleasure of watching games at both the A and B level. The old days of Junior Gold hockey as a "goon" league are gone, and the level of play now is nothing less than outstanding!
As another season ends I just wanted to say congratulations to ALL teams on another fantastic season. Congrats to Woodbury (B) and SLP (A) on your 2010/11 Championships. Having had the pleasure of watching the action in Hermantown this year, and in Coon Rapids last year (B State Tourney), I know just how intense these games can be.
Congratulations to ALL players, coaches, and parents on a season to remember. To all of the Seniors who ended their careers....Good Luck in the future. To all of the underclassmen who will return this fall....I look forward to watching some exceptional hockey.
Be safe this summer, and get ready for an outstanding 2011/12 season!
